Agents of DOOR

The idea is that event attendees are trainees in orientation for the Department of Objective Record. It’s their job to “bring history to life” by digitizing it, and reconcile the different versions in order to create a record that helps Omni flesh out the timeline, reinforce the narrative, and protect the peace.

The best way to learn is to learn on the job, so as trainees they’ll be scanning and processing personnel records into Citizen Identity Storage which feeds the DOOR simulations.

Needed Tools

Create an app that incorporates scanning functionality and AI video API for image to video.

Also integrate a 3D scanning function.

MVP could just use Apple notes / scanning app and Luma AI or PolyCam (with the direction that they should ideally have X gb free).

Process

  1. People sign up and input some basic info, including personality type details?
  2. Told to either bring X# of photos to scan, digital family picture(s), and be prepared to pick some pictures out.
  3. Visitors enter a space lined with mysterious old photos and projected videos (real and AI).
  4. People show up and are told to pick photos and items. They are directed to make up stories about the people, including:
    1. Perhaps they are also given some preliminary details about the person which you might get upon a first meeting.
    2. The photos / items could be things related to fairly normal people or to actual historical figures. If historical figures, we could play up what is known / assumed versus what is true.
  5. They scan the pictures and items in. The app then animates the pictures with AI video.
  6. They are paired with someone and directed to tell the stories they’ve made up about the people to their partner.
  7. ALERT goes out, GLITCHES are popping up on the timeline. They need to reconcile their histories to the narrative. Must do research.
    1. Lights and sounds effects.
  8. Each partner then reads them some details about the person they were just informed about (who may or may not have been a real person).
  9. People then get notification with the AI video made from the photos they scanned in, and the 3D model items they scanned.
    1. This could be faked for MVP using pre-made videos and scans.
  10. Conclusion - You have protected the narrative, preserved the peace, and are ready to advance in your training as a DOOR agent.
  11. Participants are directed to scan in your family photos (and fill out a profile for them?) to help complete the timeline.
