Aurora’s schedule 2.13.2021

• 0645-0715 is about her wakeup time; she usually hangs out for a bit. When she starts to whine a lot is when to get her out of crib
• After that she has her milk. Then diaper change. She usually drinks 1/3-3/4 of cup, after which we add more milk and put back in fridge to have later. Followed by water for rest of morning
• Playtime after that until about 0840ish when we eat breakfast in highchair in kitchen. Soft boiled/scrambled eggs, fruit, bacon, peanut butter toast, diced avocado, dry cherrios, etc
• She usually has BM while sitting in high chair, so another diaper change if she doesn’t go before breakfast.
• After breakfast more playtime
• Around 1115 we have more milk while she plays, followed by back in highchair for food. Lunchmeat, green beans, carrots, cheese, crackers, etc
• Between 1130-1200 next nap. Wakes up usually around 2ish. Usually wait until she starts whining before I go get her. Milk given right after nap.
• Next meal is usually about an hour after nap. After that next meal about 2-3 hours later which is usually dinner.
• Bedtime ritual starts at about 1840-1900. Bath time/play
• Bedtime diaper and pajamas
• We usually watch a couple animated shorts (search short circuit on Disney plus) to wind down and drink more milk during this time. Though we need to get more into bedtime reading, so feel free to read books instead and/or throughout the day as well.
• Pacifiers place in bed (5-6), turn on sound machine, all lights off, close door
• Lately on avg she wakes up a couple times throughout the night. We let her cry it out 10-15min and sometimes she will calm down &go back to sleep
• If she doesn’t, I go pick her up and lay with her in twin bed. This usually calms her. Just make sure she has a pacifier. She usually doesn’t fall asleep, but just put her back in crib with pacifiers and she should fall back to sleep. When she gets pissed she will throw them all out, so sometimes you’ll have to go and put them back in.

Tips

• On average she needs diaper changes every 2-3 hours. Any longer and her clothes get slightly wet. Best distraction if she cries during diaper change is to sing a song
• We try to only do pacifiers during nap and bedtime, but if throwing a tantrum go ahead and give to calm down for a few minutes.
• If throwing a fit, ask alexa to play Moana and she will chill
• Her favorite movies; Coco, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Moana, The Little Mermaid. Also any of the short clips they have on Disney
